Welcome to Sacred Oaks, where couples exchange their vows under a romantic canopy of ancient oaks and thousands of twinkle lights, and then dance the night away under a vaulted timber frame ceiling and chandelier dripping in greenery.

PRIVATE CHANGING SUITES

As a wedding planner, I love how both private changing suites feature exterior doors for quick and direct access to the ceremony site. This provides for a seamless transition from the getting ready portion of the day, to the wedding processional.

The bridal suite features access to a private restroom, large vanity mirrors, and plenty of seating for you and your wedding party. With generous early access times, this is where most bridal parties choose to gather for glam time. Your Camp Lucy coordinator will work with you to provide brunch or lunch for your wedding party and is onsite to make sure your VIPs are well taken care of prior to the ceremony.

CEREMONY SPACE

If you’re looking for a ceremony space that’s unlike anything you’ve experienced before, this lovely sanctuary could be the perfect location for you and your partner.

I love the ampitheatre-style seating (so that all of your guests have an elevated view), and the rock walkways and paths that ensure dry feet (even it it rained previously that day). Ofcourse nothing beats the trees!

Home to the oldest and largest Oak Tree in Hays County, the ancient oaks of Camp Lucy are memorable and mesmerizing, creating a fairytale ambiance that stands the test of time.

COCKTAIL HOUR

Following the ceremony, it’s time to ring in the arrival of the newlyweds at the soaring bell tower and invite guests to the outdoor patio and lawn for light bites, tasty beverages, and lawn games. Surrounded by lush greenery, this space is perfect for enjoying Hill Country Sunsets and can easily accommodate tents should the weather not play in your favor.

During cocktail hour, I recommend keeping the doors to the Great Hall closed. Don’t worry, your guests can still access the restrooms and the bar. By sectioning off the main reception, you can surprise your guests once again with a dramatic reveal of what’s to come…

RECEPTION HALL

The hallmark of this reception hall is the beautiful wood cathedral-style ceiling, dramatic timbers, and artful romantic details. This space is ideal for wedding receptions of 100 to 300 guests and can easily accommodate a band stage.

The built-in 16’ bar keeps the drinks flowing all night long and the greenhouse-like window alcove is ideal for a head table, cake display, or band backdrop.

Above numbers are based on pricing for a peak season Saturday, but you can find lower venue fees and F&B minimums in the off season or alternative day of the week.

The food and beverage estimate is based on a buffet, with the addition of passed appetizers during cocktail hour, and a full bar that’s middle of the road (not the cheapest, not the most expensive).

We included pricing for a stage and bussing, but if you click on those items, they will delete and update your price! Use this budget tool and make it your own!
